Nordic Storm Youth Camp – Terms & Conditions

(Purchase, Participation & Insurance)

1. General Information

The Nordic Storm Youth Camp (“the Camp”) is organized by Nordic Storm ApS, Denmark.

By completing registration and payment, the participant and/or their legal guardian accept these Terms & Conditions.

2. Eligibility & Consent

The Camp is open to participants aged 12–19 years

Participants under 18 must have consent from a parent or legal guardian

Participation requires that the participant be physically able to take part in sports activities

Nordic Storm reserves the right to refuse or terminate participation if necessary for safety or conduct reasons.

3. Registration & Payment

Registration is binding upon payment

All prices are stated in DKK (incl. VAT unless otherwise specified)

A spot is only secured once payment has been completed

Spots are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

As the Camp is a time-specific leisure service, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law does not apply.

Cancellation more than 21 days before the Camp: 75% refund

Cancellation 14–21 days before: 50% refund

Cancellation 7–14 days before: 25% refund

Cancellation less than 7 days before: no refund

Transfer of Spot

A participant may transfer their spot to another person in the same age group, subject to prior approval by Nordic Storm.

Illness or Injury

In case of documented illness or injury, Nordic Storm may, at its discretion: Offer transfer to a future camp, or provide a partial refund

5. Cancellation by Organizer

Nordic Storm reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Camp due to: Insufficient participation, Safety concerns, Force majeure (e.g., extreme weather, public restrictions)

In such cases, participants will receive a full refund of the paid amount. No further compensation will be provided.

6. Health & Medical Responsibility

The participant (and/or guardian) confirms that: The participant is in good health

Any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or injuries are disclosed prior to participation

Participation is at the participant’s own risk

Nordic Storm is not responsible for injuries resulting from: Pre-existing conditions, Failure to follow instructions, Inappropriate or reckless behavior

7. Insurance

Participants are not covered by Nordic Storm’s personal accident insurance

It is the responsibility of the participant/guardian to ensure adequate:

Accident insurance

Health insurance

Nordic Storm maintains public liability insurance, covering damage caused by the organizer’s negligence in accordance with Danish law.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted under Danish law, Nordic Storm is not liable for:

Personal injury (unless caused by negligence or gross negligence)

Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings

Actions or behavior of other participants

9. Conduct & Safety

Participants must:

Follow all instructions from coaches and staff

Act respectfully towards others

Nordic Storm reserves the right to:

Remove participants from the Camp without a refund in case of misconduct

10. Photo & Media Consent

During the Camp, photos and videos may be recorded.

By participating, the participant (and/or guardian) grants Nordic Storm the right to use such material for:

Marketing

Social media

Promotional purposes

If consent is not given, written notice must be provided prior to the Camp.

11. Changes to Program

Nordic Storm reserves the right to:

Adjust the schedule, activities, or coaching staff where necessary

Such changes do not entitle participants to refunds.

12. Data Protection (GDPR)

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation.

Data is used solely for:

Administration of the Camp

Relevant communication

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Danish law

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts.
